A Message to the Vaccinated and the Unvaccinated

How wonderful and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! – Psalm 133:1

Messaging is a powerful thing. When you hear the same narrative repeated over and over again from multiple sources, it becomes the normative train of thought. In the past 19 months, our language and our public etiquette has changed. We see billboards, signs on the sides of buses, notices in storefront windows, commercials on television, and rhetoric from government officials.

I’ve been labeled a conspiracy theorist, simply because I would rather not have others do my thinking for me. I recognize the habitual lying and contradictions from media and politicians alike, and I made a decision to dig deeper, and see the story from all sides. I’ve always believed it was important to question things, but such questioning is now distinguished as “spreading misinformation”.

Any time you post a particular keyword on social media, you get a disclaimer at the bottom, with a link to a government website. The control of the narrative has been quite impressive, I must admit.

I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.” – 1 Corinthians 1:10

I recognize that not everyone is going to think exactly the same as I do, because everything that has to do with covid, from the health measures, to the reaction of the church, to the politics behind it, is extremely polarizing. It causes arguments between friends and family, to the point of estrangement. And that perhaps is the worst thing of all, especially those of us who are in Christ, that we have allowed this wicked ploy of the devil to divide us.

Every message that comes from the mainstream media and the government leaders points to division. The vaccinated vs. the unvaccinated. The “anti-vaxxers” are taking up the hospital beds. They are prolonging this pandemic. They are the problem.

This kind of thinking is easily perpetuated when a person believes the following about covid:

  1. It was a fluke virus that has unexpectedly spread across the whole world.
  2. Do what the “experts” say, and we’ll get the pandemic under control.

Reality, however, is much more complicated:

  1. Covid is bio-engineered virus unleashed on humanity.
  2. The vaccine is merely a gateway to the social credit score system.
  3. Respiratory illnesses cannot be eradicated.
  4. Getting the pandemic under control isn’t the goal. The goal is getting the population under control.

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. – Ephesians 5:11

Now I can picture you reading this, and saying that I’m crazy, I’m a nut case, I don’t know what I’m talking about. But with the use of critical thinking, you’ll realize things are not what they seem. Is covid a real virus? Yes. Are the mitigation methods about health and safety? No.

Just yesterday, our health minister was lamenting over the shortage of nurses in the healthcare system, and that surgeries have to be postponed because there aren’t enough staff. And what is his solution? To fire all workers who are not vaccinated, the same workers who helped all through the worst of the pandemic without the presence of a vaccine, once lauded as heroes.

It’s remarkable how they’ve convinced people that hospitals (which were created to treat sick people), should be reserved for only a certain kind of sick person. And if you get a particular illness, it’s your own fault, and you should feel guilty for taking up a hospital bed. And sick people should be blamed for needing medical care from a hospital that is supposed to give people medical care. When has that ever been reality before last year?

You could bathe in Lysol every day, wear a hazmat suit and never go near another person, and sickness will still exist as long as people still exist on this earth. And if a vaccine is effective, why should a vaccinated person be afraid of an unvaccinated person? And why does a group of fully vaccinated people still have to wear masks and social distance? Do you ever stop to wonder, or just accept everything you are told as fact?

There is so much to unpack, it would be impossible to do so in one article. So what then shall we make of all this? How should we react? My simple advice: recognize where the dividing line really is.

This is not a matter of the vaccinated vs. the unvaccinated. That’s what they want us to believe. That’s how they want us to respond. Make villains of an entire group of people. Make enemies of our brothers and sisters in the body. Is that the Biblical response?

“They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” “These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.” – Jude 18-19

Have you ever labeled someone as selfish, because they aren’t doing what you think they should do? The beauty of a free society is that we have the freedom to choose, to asses risk, and decide what is best using informed consent.

The most devious part of this whole plan is using a contagious disease, because to many, that justifies making decisions for the “greater good”, and forsaking personal freedom.

But does it not unsettle you to read about old folks homes ravaged by death, not because of covid, but because of staff shortages and neglect? Does it not bother you that no strides have been made to improve the healthcare system this entire time, and instead the responsibility is placed on the population to make never-ending sacrifices? This isn’t sustainable, so where is the long-term solution? What is being done so this doesn’t happen again?

Are you not frustrated by the hypocritical nature of people who force you to follow rules, and then break those very same rules themselves? Are you not tiring of broken promises, and ever moving goal posts? Don’t you wonder how there was $15 million available for covid advertising but none to pay nurses, or improve the conditions at long-term care homes?

The government wants you to view them as your savior, when in fact, they are the ones who want to destroy you.

This whole thing started by pushing fear, and now they are pushing hatred.

“If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.” – 1 John 4:20

You may not agree with one thing that I’ve said so far, but here is one thing you cannot deny: God is a God of unity, not of division. He is a God of love, not of hatred.

Your medical decisions are none of my business. The same way that I seek respect for making my own choices, I also respect yours. Disagreement is not an excuse for vitriol. And it goes both ways. If you choose not to be vaccinated, don’t judge or look down on a person who is. That’s their personal decision, and they have their reasons. And if you are vaccinated, don’t view a person who isn’t as some kind of leper that needs to be avoided.

“As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him.” – Titus 3:10

We have to recognize where the dividing line is:

It’s not vaccinated vs. unvaccinated.

It is freedom vs. tyranny.

If you are vaccinated but oppose forced vaccination, we’re on the same team.

Understand this is a war against wickedness, not a war against each other. Don’t fall for the lies, and the tricks. Don’t buy into a narrative just because you hear it all the time. Look at what is being silenced, and ask yourself why. Truth isn’t afraid of lies, but lies are terrified of being exposed.

Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.” – Romans 14:19

There is a wicked agenda in this world, one that we have to stand up against, together (Ephesians 6:13; I Corinthians 16:13; Philippians 1:27).

It’s time to hold our leaders accountable, to make our voices known by voting for real change, and for real solutions.

Those of us in Christ are one body. We have one common goal: to advance the church on this earth, to take people out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of light. Now is not the time to be against each other, or be awkward and weird, or grumble and gossip. That’s just playing into the devil’s hand. Recognize who the enemy is, and who it is not.

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” – Colossians 3:13-14
